Rail Road Bridge Services

Professional Marine Consulting has a Certified Bridge Inspector, trained and certified by George Washington University,on staff. Due to techniques we have developed over the years, 90% of the time, we do not interfere with rail traffic in any way.

H-Pile Repair

We Specialize in Inspection, Maintenance and Repair

We specialize in inspection, maintenance and repair of all waterborne structures. We are experienced in the preservation, repair and/or replacement of timber pilings, steel H-Piles, concrete abutments, pile wrap protection systems as well as the installation of Fabric Mat systems.

• Underwater ultra-sound thickness gauge (UT) is used to determine the condition of steel support piles. We also use pit gauges to determine the depth of pits in areas where UT readings are obtained.

• PMC utilizes Cathodic Protection (CP) to control corrrosion of metal surfaces protecting bridge structures from various harmful environments. CP also assists in the prevention of stress corrosion cracking.

Reports

After inspections are completed a documented report is prepared with details depicting our findings, photographs and recommendations along with a Plan & Profile drawing.
